Another new device has come to the eye care field to aid in visual alignment called the neurolens Measurement Device, or nMD. The second generation of the device is expected to debut in the summer of 2021, which will be called the nMD2. This device is a highly accurate eye alignment measuring system to identify eye misalignment as small as 0.1 prism diopters.
The resulting data is used to order lenses called “neurolens”. The lenses help patients with eye strain, headaches, and more. It is cutting-edge technology that has the potential to improve the lives of many patients.
The equipment cost is $34,900 currently.
